Have a dream

It's the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting......Before a dream is realized, the Soul of the World tests everything that was learned along the way. It does this not because it is evil, but so that we can, in addition to realizing our dreams master the lessons we have learned as we have moved toward that dream. That's the point at which most people give up.... [At this point] Tell your heart that the fear of suffering is worse than the suffering itself. And that no heart has ever suffered when it goes in search of its dreams, because every second of search is a second's encounter with God and with eternity.-- Paulo Coelho

Mark Twain

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."

Post it

So a lot has changed and i am just full of surprises lately.. i haven't kept up with this blog mostly because my schedule wont allow it. However i am going to continue in the next few weeks to bring things to a close and focus more on me.. and this blog.
I leave you with this which is what explains my current state of mind/situation:

Everytime I do something out of the ordinary.. something extraordinary comes my way. Stepping outside my comfort zone has proved to be an adventure in itself.

Finish each day

"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense."

- Ralph Waldo Emerson

Crash and Burn

It has been almost 3 weeks without an update! I feel so terrible.. but i do have some good excuses, i was on vacation (Cancun,MX!!) then i came back and started school again -- so there went my free time.

On my next post i will update you with the yummy food down in Cancun.. for the meantime i took a picture of my dinner today.. some california shrimp sushi rolls, tangerine italian soda and 3 scoops of organic after dark froyo from stonyfields--mmm super yummy

I have totally been neglecting my organic diet ever since i came back from Mexico, since starting school i feel that i've been thrown off my normal eating schedule so dealing with that also.

Cancun pix to come! Heres a little taste..

Corn chowdah

Had lunch with one of my sorors on Sunday afternoon, we hit up panera bread and i ordered a turkey sandwich on focaccia bread with summer corn chowder and a baguette, it was fantastic.

We went shopping later because we had a chapter picture, spending money was super fun but ended up spending $80! More than i bargained for..
Didn't hit up the farmer's market this weekend, needed a break and also i didn't really have much to buy... went to a quinceanera this weekend (15th bday) and had soo much fun, danced the entire night!

*note to me: after having a plate of barbacoa and carne en mole with rice and beans my stomach did not accept it so well, think i had some indigestion for a lil bit.. * I may be getting used to organic foods.. those foods were heavy.*

However did end up dancing soo much that i'm pretty sure i burned most of it up. The sweat was pretty gross..

Here's a pic of us.. and i'm a hot mess..
